No Second Chance
The crash landing yesterday at Heathrow Airport must have been terrifying for all concerned on the plane. I have always wondered how I would react if was ever in a situation like that.
I mean if there was a chance that you were five minutes from being seriously injured or worse, what would be going through your mind?
Would your whole life flash before your eyes? Would you try and make peace with yourself or anyone else that was with you? Who would you even think of?
As far as we all know we get one chance to live our life and it is moments such as those where you think that you have to go and get what you want and not wait for it to come to you.
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those that got there first
Steven Tyler
There can be plenty of life changing moments to make you realise what you have is not really what you should have or where you are is not where you could be. When you realise that it can be about making it happen and not just believing that it can’t be done, taking the im out of impossible.
We waste time on trivial matters and worry and get ourselves so caught up in it all, that we don’t even know what it is we were worrying about in the first place.
We all have responsibilities that will always and should always be the case, but at the end of it all we all have the responsibility of maintaining our well being, physically and mentally. I was at a funeral recently and then person was being showered with praise and rightly so, but it made me think do I want to get to the stage just before my death to have to question was everything I did in my life all I could have done?
Sometimes you have to walk the tightrope without the safety net and not think about the what if , for a little while anyway.
