Admiration
I admire anyone who helps to raise money for charity and none more so then anyone who takes huge risks in order to do so.
With this in mind, it was heart warming to read this morning of then 84 year old great-grandmother Elsie Owen, who has raised £1,500 for cancer charities by doing a tandem parachute jump.
What makes it even more incredible is that she is a survivor of bowel cancer.
It can be difficult to find time to be charitable and I include myself in saying that in general there is not enough done , but at the same time there can be the case that there are two many causes to give and never enough time.
Cancer is something that has had an impact, in some way, on everyone. It does not care who it affects and it is something that just doesnt want to stop. It can be hard to fight an enemy like that, but hopefully one day a cure can finally be found.
