Willie O’Dea, The Minister for Defence, has stated that there will be no cutbacks, to quote RTE, on “frontline policing to deal with organised and serious crime”. Which is good to know.

The outgoing President of the United States, Mr George Bush is urging the US congress to try and support the housing finance companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in order to relieve some pressure on the economy.

Name, Shame and Humble

Many of you will have read the recently proposed plans of the British Government to force those who commit knife crimes to meet their and other victims of stabbings. I think it is something that should be considered the world over.
