Look to the skies…
With the announcement of budget cuts and a general tight time for all concerned in this country, we may as well take to looking up at the skies.
Apparently Iran has upset Israel and America by testing nuclear missiles, including one capable of reaching Israel. The conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan have been bad enough, with too much blood shed (any blood shed in these circumstances would be too much), however through in Iran into the mix and the rest of the world might as well just sit back and watch the two sides firing as many weapons as possible at each other, in a battle that no one can truly call themselves the winner.
So with that, we’ll have more innocent lives taken, a fallout that may take decades to resolve and a situation that has little or no hope of being controlled. It doesn’t sound like much fun now does it?
I don’t believe Iran care about the sanctions imposed, they will just do whatever they like and maybe that’s what annoys America and the other allies so much. Iran are a force that they cannot control, or quite possibly even predict and after having their fingers burned since the deployment of troops in 2001, America will not as eager to throw their forces into this situation.
It all adds up to a long and painful process for everyone concerned. We seem to be very good at finding new ways to take and destroy lives; do you think there is a chance that we can come up with more ways to safe them instead?
