For 2009…let us hope

by admin

Let us hope that violence and bloodshed can cease, particularly in Gaza Strip. Maybe just maybe we can eradicate the need to destroy everything we create and hopefully save a lot of lives in the process.

Let us hope that things can turn around financially, but that if it cannot that we can learn to be more humble and not as oblivious to the ways of the world. Everyone is unfortunately going to feel the pinch for some part of the year but hopefully it is something that will not last for too long and will not affect too many people.

Let us hope that there is less suffering all around the world and that poverty stricken countries will be able to try and stand up for themselves and on their own two feet. Too many people die every day in poverty and from diseases in places where the choice of life and chance of life is far too low.

Let us hope we can find ways to bring more common sense into decision making and that includes members of the public and politicians. Those that are thinking of a need for speed; please don’t hit the accelerator too much. Those with the need for the greed, remember to think about your actions. Those living in an ivory tower, remember to climb down once in a while.

Overall let’s hope we can be better people then we were last year.

Let’s hope that we bring an end to the greatest human rights issue in the history of mankind- abortion.
And that Barack obama hasa change of heart when he goes to appoint supreme court justices.
