“We had a miracle on 34th Street. I believe now we have had a miracle on the Hudson,” New York Gov. David Paterson
Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger is being hailed as a hero and rightly so.
Anyone who can save the lives of 155 people, deserves to be praised for their extraordinary effort. When the circumstances involve a plane crash landing into the Hudson River in New York City, it is even more impressive.
There have been varying degrees of speculation as to how the fault with the engines occurred; anything from geese flying into the engine to a plot by Osama Bin Laden, even so the coolness and calm that Mr Sullenberger has to be commended.
His exploits sound like something that would be featured in a TV movie of the week on American television and even the New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg stated, “This is a story of heroes, something right out of a movie script.”
As always the miracle black box will provide a lot of answers and once the plane is removed from the river, the speculation can be put to rest after the investigation.
Some are calling this “The miracle on the Hudson”. That the only serious injury to come from this was a broken leg, it may just be a miracle.

Katy Appleton Says:
A truly amazing story. I too believe it was a miracle and the hand and presence of God was very much in that plane that day. Glory Alleluia.
