Lou Reed once sang of having a “Perfect Day” but I’ve often wondered if perfection is a case of each to their own.
We seem to chase a perfection and it nearly always seems to be one step ahead of us. The perfect job, the perfect man/woman, the perfect home all of these things we strive for all through life and I’m not sure that the majority of us
I think a person’s version of heaven has to contain flaws because in all honesty your version of perfect would be different to mine (for instance mine would be to see Liverpool win the Premiership this season!) and to me that is what is great about originality and opinion.
We all have the ability to have vivid imaginations and can conjure up ideas and stories that can make us laugh, cry and think about things that we possibly never have before.
If we all had the same ideas for a perfect day, it would quickly turn into normality and then that just fades into everyday life where we all carry on like nothing has changed.
The longer you keep your idea of perfection in your head and heart, the more you will strive to better yourself and believe in the things that you hold in such high regard.
