I’ve just returned from Taizé (ecumenical community near Lyon (France)) after spending some time in Rome and I can’t help but wonder what direction this Church of ours is heading in….as an institution. Do we have our priorities right?…or is it just jet-lag?

We are told about our relationship with God being personal and yet mankind is said to have a communal relationship with Him. We are told of the face of God as father, protecter etc., yet we each see God differently. Can these views be reconciled with one another or are they contradictory?
